The Tyny is in the middle of North Wales, with easy access to all it's attractions and splendours. We're family owned and run and offer a very personal service to our guests. We're noted for our relaxed and friendly atmosphere, from our traditional bar areas through to our function and dining room.
All but 2 of our bedrooms have been furnished to a high standard, with high quality fittings & modern showers. Two have a four poster bed and several can be twin beds or 6ft super king.
We have 3 rooms suitable for families, and children sharing a room with 2 paying adults pay a modest fee.
For those on a more modest budget, the 2 standard rooms are lower priced and we have 1 bedroom set up with a double & triple bunk which, like all our rooms is ensuite.
As a lot of our guests enjoy the outdoors we have a drying room, secure cycle storage and launderette.
All our front facing rooms, public and bedrooms, look out on Moel Siabod, a solitary, very noticeable mountain. Across the road we have a large car park which also houses our splendid Red & Black Mail Coach, celebrating the historic A5 and its coaching era.
The car park leads to our meadow and the River Llugwy. Here you'll find a deep river pool, perfect for wild swimming, plus many shallow stretches where younger guests can enjoy fishing, paddling or simply skimming stones.
We serve a wide range of beers & lagers. Our whisky list has over 50 special whiskys and the gins currently total over 30.
Our menu & daily specials are freshly cooked by our chefs, using local specialist suppliers. Food can be served through out the hotel - in front of open fires in the winter or on the patio and garden areas in the summer.
Breakfast is a wide choice of cereals, yoghurts, fruit etc, plus our freshly cooked traditional bacon, sausages or smoked haddock.
